Sandvine Announces Five New International Customers

Four DSL carrier wins and one wireless operator win

Sandvine, (TSX: SVC)(AIM: SAND) a leading provider of intelligent broadband network solutions for Cable, DSL, FTTx, fixed wireless and mobile operators, today announced five new international customer wins, two of which came through strategic reseller partner relationships.

Sandvine has won a new wireless carrier, located in the Philippines. This service provider is deploying Sandvine\'s PTS platform along with applications from Sandvine\'s service creation suite of solutions to enhance the flexibility and efficiency of their evolving data pricing framework. Sandvine\'s solution enables comprehensive and flexible consumption management that supports prepaid and postpaid rate plans and offers subscribers tiered services based on their network needs. \"Last year, 22.3 million smart phones were sold worldwide and wireless operators have responded with the introduction of a growing range of compelling service and pricing options,\" said Mr. Donnelly. \"Sandvine is pleased to offer solutions that help reduce the complexity of introducing and communicating such plans to wireless users.\"

Sandvine has also won four new DSL customers, located in Indonesia, Japan, Russia and the United Kingdom, together representing approximately one million broadband subscribers. These customers are deploying Sandvine\'s Policy Traffic Switch (PTS) platform along with various applications from Sandvine\'s network integrity and traffic optimization suite of solutions. Together, these solutions help service providers protect subscribers from malicious traffic and optimally share network resources.
