Day4 Energy Enters Investor-Funded Projects Market with a 2.5 MW Turnkey Solar Electric System in Italy



Day4 Energy today announced the official launch of its turnkey solar power project business with an agreement to deliver a 2.5 megawatt (MW) power generation system to be installed by the company\\\'s Italian channel partner Ing Gaeta Sistemi Elettrici SrL. Consisting of 14,300 advanced Day4 48MC modules, the system is funded and will be ultimately owned by Day4 Energy\\\'s project financing partner CERTUS Life Cycle AG (CLC) and is located near the town of Sezze about 75 kilometers southeast of Rome. The 2.5 MW Solita photovoltaic (PV) system will deliver enough reliable clean electricity to power approximately 1000 Italian homes.

Solita is the largest PV system to feature Day4 Energy\\\'s industry leading products to date and is the first project to be delivered under the terms of the recent agreement between the company and CLC.

Abraxis and ProMetic Enter License Agreements for Up to $295 M US For Four Biopharmaceuticals

Abraxis Makes Initial $7 M US Equity Investment in ProMetic, with Future Additional Optional Equity Investments of Up to $25 M US

Abraxis BioScience, Inc. (NASDAQ: ABII) and ProMetic Life Sciences Inc. (TSX: PLI) announced today that they have signed definitive agreements for the development and commercialization, on a world-wide basis (excluding China and Taiwan), of four biopharmaceutical products targeting underserved medical conditions. These represent market opportunities potentially exceeding $600 M US in annual revenue for Abraxis. The transaction includes an initial strategic investment, by Abraxis, in ProMetic of $7 M US at $0.47 CDN per share as well as providing Abraxis rights to make optional investments of up to $25 M US.

Open Text(TM) Corporation (NASDAQ:OTEX) (TSX: OTC), a global leader in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), and Captaris, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAPA), a leading provider of software products that automate document-centric processes, today announced a definitive merger agreement in which a wholly owned subsidiary of Open Text will acquire Captaris. Under the terms of the agreement, Captaris shareholders will receive cash consideration of approximately US $131 million in total, or $4.80 per share in exchange for their Captaris stock. The companies expect the transaction to close by the end of the calendar year, subject to customary closing conditions, including approval by Captaris\'s shareholders and anti-trust approvals.

ORO GOLD AND MAZORRO DRILL 0.9 G/T GOLD OVER 90 METRES AT CIMARRON, MEXICO

Oro Gold Resources Ltd. (“Oro Gold”) (TSX-V: OGR) and Mazorro Resources Inc. (TSX-V: MZO; Frankfurt: JAM) report positive assay results for the first phase of the 2,400 metre reverse circulation (“RC”) drill campaign completed at the Cimarron property, located 40 kilometres east of Mazatlan, Mexico. The drilling tested the Calerita target located in the central part of the property and confirmed the presence of a significant outcropping gold-bearing zone.
