CONSOL Energy Reports Net Income of $195.8 million

CONSOL Energy Inc. (NYSE: CNX), a high-Btu bituminous coal and natural gas company, had net income attributable to CONSOL Energy shareholders for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 of $195.8 million, or $1.08 per share. This is more than 260% of the net income attributable to CONSOL Energy shareholders of $75.1 million, or $0.41 per share, earned for the quarter ended March 31, 2008.

CONSOL Energy achieved several financial records for the first quarter of 2009 (excluding the 2005 quarter in which gas stock was sold), including net income attributable to CONSOL Energy shareholders of $195.8 million earnings per share of $1.08, EBITDA of $389.5 million, and EBIT of $283.3 million. CONSOL Energy also had record operating cash flows of $249.8 million.

Cline Mining New Elk Coal Mine Development

Cline Mining Corporation ("Cline" or the "Company) (TSX: CMK.TO) announces that the refurbishment and development to commercial production of its New Elk metallurgical coal mine located in southern Colorado, U.S.A. is proceeding well and Phase I is approaching completion. The New Elk Coal Mine has now been officially designated as an 'Active' coal mine; the east portal re-entry into the mine has been approved and the west portal re-entry is expected to be approved later this month; at which time the entire mine will reopen and coal miner access afforded to the coal seams and faces. New Elk will then be in a position to recommence coal mining, subject to final regulatory approval of the formal New Elk mine plan and completing installation of the mining and handling equipment and production facilities.

Westcore Announces Drilling of 33 Metre Coal Zone at Black Diamond Project, Manitoba, Near Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan

WESTCORE ENERGY LTD. (TSX VENTURE:WTR.P) (the "Corporation" or "Westcore"), a capital pool company, is pleased to announce preliminary drilling results in respect of the Manitoba portion of the properties that it has agreed to acquire as its Qualifying Transaction (as previously referenced in press releases dated August 21, 2008, December 12, 2008 , January 15, 2009 and March 31, 2009). Accompanying this news release is a map which shows the properties upon which the coal permits that Westcore has agreed to acquire apply. The total acreage of the land that is the subject of these permits is approximately 200,835 acres (81,277 hectares), with approximately 48,036 acres (19,440 HA) being in Manitoba and approximately 152,799.22 acres (61,837 HA) being in Saskatchewan.

Goldsource Completes Winter Drill Program at Border; 34 Holes Contain Aggregate Coal Intercepts Ranging From 10 to 100 Meters

Goldsource Mines Inc. ("Goldsource" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GXS) is pleased to announce that it has completed the 2009 winter drilling program at the Pasquia, Chemong and Split-Leaf areas of the Border Project ("Border"), located near Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Canada. Of the 97 holes drilled at Border to date, 34 contain aggregate coal intercepts ranging from 10 to 100 metres in true thickness and coal was discovered in a total of 44 holes. The program was successful in further defining previously known coal discovery areas and identifying at least three new open-ended areas with coal zone intercepts of up to 45 metres.

Alix and Geo Announce Acquisition of Coal Prospecting Permits Approximately Two Kilometers From Goldsource's Latest "Split-Leaf" Discovery

ALIX RESOURCES CORP. (TSX VENTURE: AIX.V)(FRANKFURT:37N) and GEO MINERALS LTD. (TSX VENTURE: GM.V) (The "Companies") are pleased to announce the acquisition of an 80% interest in the "Hudson Bay" property from NuCoal Energy Corp. The Hudson Bay property is comprised of just over 7,000 acres of highly prospective Coal Prospecting Permits of which the closest boundary is approximately 2 kilometers from the Goldsource Mines' new Split-Leaf Coal Discovery. Portions of the acquired Coal Prospecting Permits extend across to the North side of the Red Deer River, a water feature, outlined in the map attached to the Goldsource news release of March 2, 2009.
