Methes Energies Finalizing Arrangements to Supply up to 40 Railcars of Biodiesel per Month to U.S. Clients

LAS VEGAS, NV - Methes Energies International Ltd. (NASDAQ: MEIL), a renewable energy company that offers an array of products and services to biodiesel fuel producers, today announced that it is finalizing arrangements with a large national aggregator and a downstream distributor in the United States to supply up to 40 railcars of biodiesel per month or the equivalent of up to 1 million gallons per month for the rest of 2014 and beyond.

Methes Energies is now qualified to be an importer of record of biodiesel into the U.S. and to itself generate RIN's (Renewable Identification Numbers) in the U.S. This will provide better margins and give Methes Energies the ability to sell directly to U.S. buyers.

MagneGas Files New Patent for Binding MagneGas to Hydrocarbon Fuels

April 9, 2014 -  MagneGas Corporation, www.magnegas.com ("MagneGas" or the "Company") (MNGA), a technology company that counts among its inventions a patented process that converts liquid waste into a hydrogen-based fuel, announced today that it filed a new patent protecting new methods of applying MagneGas to existing hydrocarbons and other materials. The new patent is based on a provisional patent filed in April 2013 titled "Method and Apparatus for the Industrial Production of New Hydrogen-Rich Fuels." The patent describes new methods of binding MagneGas, or hydrogen extracted from MagneGas, to hydrocarbon fuels and other material through a proprietary process.  The Company believes that binding MagneGas to hydrocarbon fuels will improve fuel combustion efficiency resulting in reduced emissions.

BioFuel Energy Receives Proposal For A Possible Transaction

BIOFUEL ENERGY CORP ( BIOF ) (the "Company") announced today that it has received a preliminary non-binding proposal (the "Proposal") from Greenlight Capital, Inc. (together with its affiliates, "Greenlight") and James R. Brickman ("Brickman" and, together with certain trusts and family members of Brickman, the "Brickman Parties") for a possible transaction pursuant to which one or more newly-formed, wholly owned subsidiaries of the Company would acquire all of the equity interests of JBGL Capital, LP and JBGL Builder Finance, LLC, and their direct and indirect subsidiaries (collectively, "JBGL").  JBGL is a series of real estate entities involved in the purchase and development of land for residential purposes, construction lending and home building operations.  JBGL is currently owned and controlled by Greenlight and Brickman.
