Toronto, Ontario--(August 28, 2023) - Benz Mining Corp. (TSXV: BZ) (ASX: BNZ) (the Company or Benz) is pleased to report the discovery of a new area of outcropping spodumene bearing pegmatites discovered along the 25km lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatite trend at Ruby Hill West in Quebec, Canada.

 

The new discovery, M-2, is located approximately 2km west of the recently announced Mikisiw discovery1 which returned samples of up to 5% Li2O at outcrop. The M-2 pegmatite outcrop is located 400m from a historical diamond drill hole (DDH 90-EM-003) drilled by Kingswood Explorations 1985 Limited in 1990 that intersected 30m of muscovite- bearing pegmatite from 140.5m - 171.7m depth and was not assayed for lithium.

VANCOUVER, BC / August 3, 2023 / Fury Gold Mines Limited (TSX:FURY)(NYSE American:FURY) ("Fury" or the "Company") is pleased to provide results for the first three 2023 core drill holes at the high-grade Eau Claire gold project located in the Eeyou Istchee Territory in the James Bay region of Quebec. The 2023 drill program to date has focused on the continued expansion of the Hinge Target located immediately west of the Eau Claire Deposit with the goal of updating the Eau Claire Mineral Resource Estimate at the end of the season. Drilling at the Hinge Target continues to return multiple stacked zones of gold mineralization from each drill hole including 5.0 metres (m) of 3.6 g/t Au within a broader interval of 14.0m of 2.37 g/t Au. Additional drill intercepts include 6.5m of 2.66 g/t Au, 6.0m of 2.77 g/t Au and 1.0m of 10.35 g/t Au (Table 1; Figure 1).

 

Drill holes 23EC-063 and 23EC-064 have expanded the Hinge Target gold mineralization 50m up-dip and 75m to the west respectively. Drill hole 23EC-064 represents the first of a series of infill drill holes designed to tighten up the spacing of the 2022 Hinge Target drilling to a nominal spacing of 60-80m. Importantly, the broad intercepts of 14.0m of 2.37 g/t Au, 6.0m of 2.77 g/t Au and 6.5m of 2.66 g/t Au continue to show the overall strength of the mineralized system within the Hinge Target.

Mapping and prospection work in late May discovered the new Mikisiw area of outcrops and blocks of spodumene bearing LCT (lithium-cesium-tantalum) pegmatite.

New high-grade discoveries on the Suzanna and Michel prospects, including a new copper-gold discovery at Michel:

4.85m at 7.50 g/t Au and 1.91% Cu from 76.65m (EM22-272)

3.40m at 9.32 g/t Au from 264.10m at Suzanna (EM22-260)

New discoveries extend the mineralised zones up to 10km along strike from the Eastmain mine which hosts the recently announced 1 million ounce indicated and inferred resource1

Best intercepts to date at Michel and Suzanna indicate that Benz's exploration techniques and strategy are highly effective in identifying gold mineralisation away from the existing mineral resource

Further drilling planned to follow up these new target areas after the current summer program targeting lithium
