News Release: SRA Awarded $115M Contract with U.S. Marine Corps

SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX) announced today that it has been awarded a competitive task order by the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM). SRA will provide a broad range of information technology (IT) services and solutions to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4) Chief Information Officer Directorate. The task order, awarded under the Millennia contract, has a potential value of $115 million over seven years if all options are exercised. 'This contract award recognizes our strong capabilities in providing the full spectrum of system development services and solutions,'said SRA President and CEO Ernst Volgenau. 'We will begin at a modest level of effort, and will increase our work based on the needs of the client.'

The USMC C4 CIO Directorate is responsible for establishing information system standards, monitoring systems, and maintaining the information architecture in support of the USMC warfighting mission. SRA will support the Directorate by providing a range of services that spans the IT life cycle: program management; communications architecture analysis and planning; information assurance; public key infrastructure; workforce planning for information management services; knowledge management; IT capital planning and investment support; satellite system planning and support; and the acquisition of hardware and software. The SRA team includes Anteon International Corporation; Computing Technologies, Inc.; and Vredenburg, Inc.

FEDSIM is a program under the GSA Federal Technology Service providing over $1 billion per year in large-scale systems integration support to other federal agencies. Millennia is a $25 billion multiple-award, indefinite- delivery, indefinite-quantity contract offering multi-year IT services to federal agencies worldwide.
