News Release: Public Safety and Utility Orders

Wireless Matrix Corporation ('Wireless Matrix') announced today orders for 133 mobile base stations ('MBS') and associated Wide Area Wireless Services that over a three-year term total $600,000. The orders include follow-on business with an existing law enforcement customer and an initial order from a new customer in the utility market sector.

'We continue to gain business from existing customers and add new customers with future demand,'said John Herring, President and CEO of Wireless Matrix. 'The awards are in two of our key target markets and will further serve to influence prospective customers currently considering our services.' The awards are for immediate delivery and deployment over the next 90 days. The two customers have a combined future demand for an additional 500 MBS and associated services.

Al Milligan, Executive Vice President, Business Operations of Wireless Matrix noted, 'Although in different market sectors, these two customers found that 100% availability of their deployed workforces was essential to mission success and bottom-line performance. Our multi-wireless network service enables these customers to implement a quality of service far surpassing that available from single network solutions, eliminating productivity loss and redundant business processes necessary to address out of contact situations.'
