News Release: Signs Contract to Provide Fortune 100 Corporation With Advanced Authentication for 5,000 Enterprise PCs

SAFLINK(TM) Corporation (OTCBB:SFLK), a leading developer, marketer, and integrator of biometric security solutions, today announced the signing of a contract with an unnamed Fortune 100 corporation for the deployment of a biometrically-enabled single sign-on solution for 5,000 employees who access the company's wide area network.

The solution will simplify access to network enterprise applications for these employees by eliminating multiple passwords from the company's information technology infrastructure. The total value of the contract is in excess of $800,000 and includes software, hardware, and software maintenance. SAFLINK expects to deploy the solution for at least 1,500 workstations during the 4th Quarter of 2002.

(Nasdaq:NOVL) to provide a comprehensive and user-friendly biometric network access control system.

SAFmodule also supports Novell SecureLogin, which gives users single sign-on access to a variety of network resources and applications, and Novell eDirectory(TM), a powerful cross-platform directory service.

SAFmodule extends the power of biometric authentication by means of a robust set of features tailored to the needs of large distributed organizations. The solution supports four different types of biometric devices through open systems standards and enables rapid deployment of biometrics to large groups of employees.
