LITTLE FALLS, NJ - August 31, 2010 (Investorideas.com Newswire) - mPhase Technologies, Inc. (OTC.BB:XDSL) announced today that scalable smart reserve cell technology is one of the items included in the Fiscal Year 2011 Defense Appropriations bill that was recently passed out of subcommittee in the United States House of Representatives. Scalable Smart Reserve Cell Technology is listed to receive funding in the amount of $2,500,000.
"We are encouraged that Congress has recognized the importance of this technology," said Mr. Ronald Durando, mPhase's President and Chief Executive Officer. The company is currently working closely with the United States Army to complete Phase II of a $750,000 Small Business Technology Transfer grant to develop scalable smart reserve power cell technology. This is the first time Congress has specifically designated funding for this type of technology. |

Kenexa Announces Agreement to Acquire Salary.com
Kenexa Corporation (Nasdaq: KNXA) and Salary.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: SLRY) today announced that they have entered into an agreement for Kenexa’s acquisition of Salary.com in an all cash tender offer and merger for $4.07 per share, or approximately $80 million. Kenexa, a global provider of business solutions for human resources, expects to complete the cash tender offer and close the transaction during the fourth quarter of 2010. The completion of the transaction is subject to a majority of the outstanding Salary.com shares being tendered, as well as satisfactory completion of other customary closing conditions, including certain regulatory approvals.
Kenexa expects to finance the deal through a combination of its cash balances and borrowings against its credit facility, which was recently put in place. The agreement has been unanimously approved by the board of directors of both companies, and Salary.com’s board intends to recommend that the Salary.com stockholders tender their shares in the offer.

RockBridge Awards Drilling Contract for Rare Earth Property
RockBridge Resources Inc. (RockBridge- "RBE") (TSX VENTURE: RBE) has entered into an agreement for diamond drilling of the Cross Hills Rare Earth prospect property near Grand Le Pierre, Newfoundland. The Cross Hills property consists of 100% interest in 343 mineral claims covering 20,923 acres, prospective for Rare Earth Elements and metals and for Copper.
