Mountain Province Diamonds Announces First Quarter 2018 Production Results

TORONTO and NEW YORK, April 24, 2018 - Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. ("Mountain Province", the "Company") (TSX and NASDAQ: MPVD) today announces production results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2018 from the Gahcho Kué Diamond Mine ("GK Mine").
 
Q1 Production Highlights
 
In the first quarter of 2018, the GK Mine plant recovered approximately 1,641,000 carats on a 100% basis for an average grade of approximately 2.09 carats per tonne, 89% and 18% higher than what was achieved during the same period last year respectively. 
 
Pre-stripping of the Hearne pit continued on schedule during the quarter and the operations team anticipates mining first ore by the end of April. 
 
The shovel and trucks included in the guided capital expenditures were delivered to site in the first quarter.  Assembly and commissioning of the shovel is complete, and the completion of the truck fleet is expected by end of the second quarter.

Mountain Province Diamonds Reports Year End 2017 Statement of Estimated Mineral Reserves and Resources and Files Technical Report

TORONTO and NEW YORK, March 26, 2018 - Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. ("Mountain Province", or the "Company") (TSX and NASDAQ: MPVD) today announces the Company's year end 2017 statement of estimated mineral reserves and mineral resources.
 
The Company has also completed an updated technical report in support of the statement of estimated mineral reserves and mineral resources, entitled "Gahcho Kué Mine NI-43-101 Technical Report" and dated March 16th, 2018 (with information effective as of December 31, 2017) (the "2017 Technical Report") as prepared and completed by JDS Energy & Mining Inc. ("JDS"). The 2017 Technical Report was filed by the Company on SEDAR on March 26, 2018, and concurrently on EDGAR under Form 6K. Mountain Province Diamonds Results of Second Diamond Sale of 2018 And Confirmation of Dividend Objective

TORONTO and NEW YORK, March 15, 2018 - Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. ("Mountain Province", the "Company") (TSX and NASDAQ: MPVD) today announces the results of its recently completed second diamond sale of 2018. This sale yielded a realized value per carat of US$142, the highest achieved by Mountain Province in any tender sale to date, with total proceeds of US$25.1 millionon approximately 177,000 carats sold.

LUCARA DIAMOND ANNOUNCES ACQUISTION OF CLARA DIAMOND SOLUTIONS CORPORATION
 
Lucara Diamond Corp. has agreed to acquire Clara Diamond Solutions Corp., a company whose primary asset is a secure, digital sales platform that will transform how rough diamonds are sold, unlocking value for diamond producers and manufacturers alike. Clara uses proprietary analytics together with cloud and blockchain technologies to modernize the existing diamond supply chain, driving efficiencies and ensuring diamond provenance from mine to finger. Lucara has agreed to purchase Clara for a total upfront consideration of 13.1 million shares of Lucara (approximately $29-million in upfront consideration based on the closing price of Lucara common shares as at Feb. 22, 2018) resulting in approximately 3.7-per-cent dilution to its existing share capital.

Mountain Province Diamonds to Acquire Kennady Diamonds in a Friendly All-Share Offer

TORONTO and NEW YORK, Jan. 29, 2018 - Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. ("Mountain Province") (TSX and NASDAQ: MPVD) and Kennady Diamonds Inc. ("Kennady") (TSX-V: KDI) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a definitive arrangement agreement ("Arrangement Agreement") pursuant to which Mountain Province will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Kennady by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement (the "Transaction").
 
Under the terms of the Transaction, Kennady shareholders will receive 0.975 (the "Exchange Ratio") of a Mountain Province common share (a "Mountain Province Share") for each Kennady common share (a "Kennady Share"), representing the equivalent of C$3.46 per Kennady Share, based on the closing price of Mountain Province Shares on the TSX on January 26, 2018.
