Mountain Province Diamonds Provides Corporate Update

TORONTO and NEW YORK, March 7, 2017 - Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. ("Mountain Province", the "Company") (TSX and NASDAQ: MPVD) today announced the completion of the second sale of Gahcho Kué diamonds at which the Company sold 277,646 carats. The Company received bids on all parcels offered, including unsold parcels carried over from the January sale, and sold all the parcels offered.
 
The Company's third sale of approximately 193,900 carats of Gahcho Kué diamonds is scheduled for late March 2017. Detailed results of the cumulative first quarter sales will be released with the Company's Q1 2017 financial results. Diamond sales will continue to occur once every five weeks and all future sales results will be reported with the Company's quarterly and annual financial results.

Lucara Provides Exploration Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(March 6, 2017) -Lucara Diamond Corp. ("Lucara" or the "Company") (TSX:LUC)(BOTSWANA:LUC)(NASDAQ OMX Stockholm:LUC), is pleased to announce the results of the second BK02 mini-bulk sample and provide an update on other exploration activities.
 
A total of 309.79 carats were recovered from the processing of 5,021 tonnes of BK02-2, for a sample grade of 6.2 cpht (carats per hundred tonne). The largest diamond recovered was a 4.56 white/grey octahedron. A total of 22 stones were recovered greater than 1 carat in weight, including 5 diamonds in excess of 2 carats in weight (inclusive of the 4.56 carat diamond). The sample was collected from the same location as the results announced on 13 June 2015, after a drill and blast sample was taken to deepen the sample pit, followed by excavation and trucking to the Karowe Mine where processing was conducted through a 15 tonne per hour Bulk Sample Dense Media and X-ray Recovery Plant.
 
Diamonds were exported to the Lucara Sales and Sorting office for final cleaning and sizing. The second phase sample results confirm the coarse size distribution of the BK02-1 sample.

Gahcho Kué in Commercial Production

World's largest new diamond mine achieves operational milestone
 
CALGARY and TORONTO, March 2, 2017 - Gahcho Kué, the world's largest new diamond mine in the last 13 years, officially began commercial productioni today (2 March 2017). The mine, a joint venture with The De Beers Group of Companies (51 per cent) and Mountain Province Diamonds (49 per cent), is expected to produce approximately 54 million carats of rough diamonds over its lifetime.ii
 
Production ramp up began on 1 August 2016 and the Official Opening Ceremony took place on 20 September 2016, with 200 guests in attendance from across Canada and around the world.

36.34 Carat Diamond Recovered from Oena Diamond Mine

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Feb. 8, 2017) -Tango Mining Limited ("Tango" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TGV) is pleased to announce that African Mineral Recovery Solutions CC ("AMRS") has mobilized and commissioned mining and processing equipment, including a Bourevestnik X-ray sorter ("BVX") at the Oena Diamond Mine (the "Oena Project") located in the Northern Cape, South Africa. During test commissioning, AMRS recovered a total of 62.17 carats at an average value of US$3,780 per carat, including a stone of 36.34 carats.
 
Since Tango's acquisition of 51% of African Star Minerals (Pty) Limited ("ASM"), which owns 100% of the Oena Project, 254.2 carats have been recovered with an average value of US$1,881 per carat. Upon completion of a number of required operational items, including the implementation of a number of required management plans, including a Health and Safety Plan, Tango expects AMRS to commence bulk sampling in Q1 2017.

Mountain Province Diamonds Announces Recovery of 67.87 carat Gem Quality Diamond at Gahcho Kué Mine

TORONTO and NEW YORK, Feb. 6, 2017 - Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. ("Mountain Province", the "Company") (TSX and NASDAQ: MPVD) is pleased to announce the recovery of a 67.87 carat gem quality octahedron diamond during production ramp-up at the Gahcho Kue diamond mine. This is the largest gem quality diamond recovered to date at Gahcho Kué and can be viewed at the Company's website www.mountainprovince.com.
 
"The presence of large gem quality diamonds at Gahcho Kué was established during the bulk sampling when a 25.13 carat octahedron was recovered", noted Patrick Evans, Mountain Province President and CEO. "The recovery of a 67.87 carat gem quality diamond during production ramp-up is very encouraging."
 
Mr. Evans added: "Following some disruptions due to conveyor systems winterization issues, the production ramp-up at Gahcho Kué is once again progressing well and the mine is on track to achieve commercial production on schedule during the current quarter."
