WebTech Wireless Obtains Product Certification From Anatel-Brazil\'s Federal Telecommunications Agency

WebTech Wireless Inc. (TSX: WEW), a leading provider of location-based and fleet telematics services, announces that Anatel, Brazil\'s federal telecommunications agency, has awarded it a certificate of homologation for its products sold in Brazil.

The certificate of homologation issued by Anatel (Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicacoes), applies to WebTech Wireless\' WT5000 Series Locators(TM), and represents the Brazilian government\'s approval for the sale of these GPS vehicle tracking devices for the Brazilian market. Legislation requires that all telecommunications products sold in the country pass through a strict process of product homologation and certification. \"Obtaining this certificate is a significant step for WebTech Wireless in Brazil, as it\'s a seal of approval from Anatel, the country\'s highest regulatory authority, that our technology meets all federal standards and that our products will function as designed for customers nationwide\", said Aluisio Mol, Managing Director, WebTech Brazil.
