Colchester, UK – 8 December 2008 – Today, Access Accounting announced the latest addition to its portfolio: Access Document ManagementSE (ADMSE). The solution helps every business manage and organise their files, delivering tangible time savings and driving business flexibility into every part of the organisation.

All documents can now be saved or scanned and the resulting image attached to a record or even a transaction in the business and accounting system, Access Dimensions, for retrieval at any time, from any location. The system also incorporates full security features, allowing restricted viewing to authorised users as required.

By storing documentation electronically in a central, accessible place all employees can work from the same data. This eliminates the time-consuming and error-prone consequences of searching for papers, substantially reducing manual effort. As well as enabling smoother workflows, this application prompts effective collaboration for quick and accurate business decisions.

John Beech, managing director for Access Accounting, commented, “It provides businesses with instant visibility of documentation across the organisation. This reduces risks such as loss of important information and poor customer service due to slow response times to queries. Electronic filing effectively frees up resources and enables everyone to be better informed – without the need to be physically located near the documents. ”

The system supports a more flexible way of working as documents can be accessed, unrestricted by constraints of time and distance. This speeds up business processes, saving time and reducing cost and complexity.

ADMSE is fully integrated with Access Dimensions and FocalPoint and can be used in conjunction with these solutions or from within ADMSE itself. Where bulk scanning is required, an additional module is available, utilising barcode scanning technology for fast, automatic indexing and attachment to related financial records.
