GLV\'s Water Treatment Group Awarded New Large-Scale Contracts Worldwide Totalling Over $45 M

(All amounts are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated.) Management of GLV Inc. (\"GLV\" or \"the Company\"; ticker symbols LVG.A and LVG.B) is pleased to announce that in recent weeks, the Water Treatment Group (Eimco Water Technologies) was awarded several large-scale contracts totalling over $45 M. In terms of value, over 52% of these new contracts, or $23.8 M, was obtained in the industrial segment in the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Eastern Europe and New Caledonia. These industrial contracts relate to state-of-the-art technologies mostly destined for companies operating in the energy and food and beverage processing sectors, as well as in certain other industrial fields. The Water Treatment Group notably obtained three orders totalling $14.8 M in the energy sector, including one worth $6.7 M consisting in an automatic condenser cleaning system to be delivered in the Middle East during the fourth quarter of GLV\'s fiscal 2009. The two other orders, worth $5.7 M and $2.4 M respectively, are in the United States and Hungary and will be finalized during fiscal 2010.

Biovail to Reconvene Annual Meeting of Shareholders as Soon as Reasonably Possible

All Proxies Voted To Date Remain Valid; Shareholders Not Required To Take Any Action

Biovail Corporation (NYSE: BVF) (TSX: BVF) today announced that the Company will reconvene its previously adjourned Annual Meeting of Shareholders as soon as reasonably possible, in accordance with an Ontario Superior Court ruling.

Biovail expects to provide shareholders with the date and location of the meeting shortly. The record date remains unchanged and all proxies voted to date remain valid. Shareholders are not required to take any action at this time.

With the Court\'s clarification, which was requested by Biovail in its application to the Court immediately following the meeting, the Company can now move forward through the process and bring this matter to an expeditious conclusion.

Mountain Province Diamonds Reports Results of the 5034 North Lobe Large Diameter Core Program

Continuity between 5034 East and North Lobes Confirmed

Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. (\"the Company) (TSX: MPV, AMEX: MDM) today announced the results of the 5034 North Lobe large-diameter core drilling program conducted during the summer of 2007.

Under this program five large-diameter core holes were drilled at the northern, land based portion of 5034 North Lobe recovering approximately 36.7 tonnes of kimberlite. Sample processing took place at De Beers\' Grande Prairie facility with diamond recovery carried out at De Beers\' GEMDL facility in Johannesburg. The program was designed to collect approximately 100 carats from the North Lobe to support the macro diamond size distribution inferred from earlier micro-diamond sampling. Selected sections of the recovered drill core were crushed to -6mm and screened at a nominal bottom cut-off of 1.0mm. These are the first macro-diamonds from the 5034 North Lobe.

EarthFirst Receives Environmental Approval on Nova Scotia Wind Power Project

EarthFirst Canada Inc. (\"EarthFirst\") (TSX: EF, EF.WT) announced today that the Government of Nova Scotia has approved an Environmental Assessment for the Corporation\'s 45 MW Nuttby Mountain wind project, located in Colchester County.

Receiving the provincial permit is a significant milestone in EarthFirst\'s plans to move forward with this project. The timing of the approval is consistent with the development schedule for the project, with completed installation of the turbines currently planned for the end of 2009. The Company has in place a signed Power Purchase Agreement and a completed interconnection feasibility study from Nova Scotia Power Inc. The next steps, prior to entering a construction phase, include finalizing turbine purchase arrangements, awaiting environmental approval from the Federal Government of Canada and any municipal permits which may be required.

Old Dominion Freight Line Expects Second-Quarter Earnings in Range of $0.62 to $0.64 Per Diluted Share

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. (NASDAQ: ODFL) today announced that, based on preliminary financial results, it expects earnings per diluted share for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008, to be within a range of $0.62 to $0.64. The consensus analyst estimate for the second quarter is $0.51 per diluted share. Contributing to the growth in the Company’s second-quarter earnings were an increase in tonnage of 10.2% compared with the second quarter of 2007, a more stable pricing environment and improved productivity. As a result of the Company’s expectations for second-quarter earnings per diluted share, Old Dominion has today increased its guidance for earnings per diluted share for full-year 2008 to a range of $1.90 to $1.95 from the current range of $1.85 to $1.90. The Company will discuss its financial results in more detail in its second-quarter earnings release and conference call scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2008.
