AirLancer Extender I-360-3G for GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA reception

London, UK, Wednesday 4th November, 2009 - Networking specialists LANCOM Systems supplement their range of professional UMTS routers with the new specialised antenna AirLancer Extender I-360-3G. This indoor antenna supports all of the relevant GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA frequencies. This antenna enables the UMTS router LANCOM 1751 UMTS to operate even in spaces with weak signal reception (i.e. in metal cabinets, cellars, temporary confined installations).

Universal availability of EDGE and the introduction of the high-speed UMTS standard HSPA increasingly enable UMTS routers to be used for Internet backup, or even as primary Internet access solutions in professional environments.
